The biggest part of Russian fairy tales were created by people with a big life experience, people who have traveled a lot and seen a lot. They were mainly created by peasants and workers, who based their imaginary world on ordinary perceptions of beauty. We can find lots of animism, magic and mythology.I like Russian fairy tales and the pictures showing the main epic scenes from them because they depict a lot of features of Russian soul and view on the world by Russians. They are rich in details, bright in colours and precise in showing souls in each character, since "the soul" is the main characteristic of Russian culture. Russian literature abounds of different fairy tales and that is why i think that could be an interesting source for inspiration.
The more i see new work of Alena Akhmadullina, the stronger i fall in love with her and her works. Incredibly is that probably she found the key how to make the communication between Russian traditions and what people want to buy.
The fact that she is going to open her new store in Chechnya is so challenging...The Chechen branch of Alena Akhmadullina brand will specialize in clothes and accessories that will suit the Chechen women's traditional clothing preferences.
Alena Akhmadullina showed an amazingly super and extraordinary fashion show that some of the visitors left the her autumn/winter 2010/2011 show is the best picture of how the fashion should be in its true nature. I think that the times when fashion can change the politics just have come. Fashion should move, go forward, show something unexpected. So that girl just show it in her new collection.
Hello everyone! After my graduation Fashion Marketing and Communication course (in Istituto Europeo di Design) I came back to Russia. Now i do my best to implement and adapt my European knowledge to Russian environment. My goal is to improve fashion industry in my country by making it transparent for foreign companies and restore the Russian economic potentiality in the world by my projects.
